Rebekah Gaston serves as KHD's civil attorney, representing clients in Shawnee and Douglas counties. She’s a double Jayhawk, receiving both her bachelor’s and juris doctorate degrees from the University of Kansas. Prior to joining Kansas Holistic Defenders, Rebekah was employed as an attorney and policy advocate at nonprofits and government agencies. She has devoted her career to advocacy on behalf of families and children. When she’s not at work, she’s traveling, parenting, eye-rolling, karaoke-ing, falling down stairs, or all of the above.
