Recently, after spending three years trapped in the basement of Watson library, Santiago Vasquez graduated from KU with a bachelor’s in political science and philosophy. They are new to the 9-5 grind but are happy to do it as a client advocate for KHD. Santiago has a background in community and labor organizing, informed by their personal experience as an immigrant from Peru. They hope to pursue a career in immigration law using the skills they’re developing at KHD. Santiago is committed to connecting people with the resources they need to be successful in and outside the courtroom. Outside of work, they enjoy playing Magic: The Gathering and viewing the world with a childlike sense of wonder.
